The software behind the blog has gotten a little out of hand and beyond my meagre self taught technical skills, so I have needed to buy in some help. Following a health check by the very nice people at The Small Axe, I myself made a few technical changes to the blog over the weekend and it should now be running a bit better. Pingdom tells me Free Movement has gone from being slower than 88% of tested websites to faster than 31% of tested websites. No, I can’t work that out either, but it sounds vaguely positive. Further changes to come when The Small Axe do some proper technical stuff like fiddling with databases and move the site to a new and faster hosting company.
