Happy New Year to you all. May 2011 usher in a new era of sanity in UK immigration law and practice…

WordPress, through whom this blog is hosted, have been kind enough to send me an automated email to report on 2010 – see below. I’m a little disappointed that the busiest day yielded 1 view, allegedly, but it is possible that this is a typo by the stats helper monkey.

Other non statistical highlights from 2010 include someone plagarising the blog name, my giving up the blog and then starting it again and my attempt to introduce some new blood to ease the pressure on me and broaden the blog content and perspective, so far with somewhat limited success. There are now 567 email subscribers and the overall average number of unique views per day in 2010 was 829 (there are always many less views at weekends so the weekday average must be quite a bit higher).

Read on for a rather odd comparison with The Louvre…

The stats helper monkeys at WordPress.com mulled over how this blog did in 2010, and here’s a high level summary of its overall blog health:

  1. Thank you, FM for all your efforts! Your blog is much appreciated, surely I do not only speak for myself in saying that! And the so-called busiest day with 1 view only must be a typo indeed!! Happy New Year to you and your colleagues! Keep well. Kind regards, Bix
