CPD training available now on Free Movement
I’m pleased to announce that in conjunction with HJT Training, online CPD immigration law training is now available here on Free Movement. For an annual subscription of £199 plus VAT (or £50 per person for groups of 10 or more in the same firm or organisation) you can buy access to a growing vault of online courses, including monthly update courses based on Free Movement blog posts and the regular update podcast.
Other immigration law CPD courses include a detailed examination of law and procedure on Zambrano and EU citizenship, an analysis of the modern rules and case law on Article 8, a guide to basic appeal preparation and a detailed guide to urgent injunction applications. All the CPD immigration law training content has been written by me personally. Click here for more details of the courses.
The subscription offers an easy and cheap way to acquire genuinely useful immigration law CPD training hours and includes access to the private Free Movement discussion forum, which now has over 300 members.
What you get
An annual subscription for “all you can eat” unlimited access to dedicated immigration law online CPD training materials and the Free Movement legal discussion forums. The training content is provided by Free Movement and HJT Training. Accreditation with the Bar Standards Board is pending but expected shortly.
Monthly quizzes based on legal content on the main Free Movement blog and the regular Free Movement immigration update podcast. The quizzes are 10 questions long and are multiple choice or true/false. The pass mark is 70% but quizzes can be re-taken. These quizzes alone provide 12 hours CPD per year.
Specially created online courses and key point podcasts on a range of legal skills needed by immigration lawyers. These range from basic appeals preparation to making urgent injunction applications. These are assessed with short quizzes with a 70% passmark.
Perfect for beginners, as a refresher or for learning about new areas of immigration practice, the legal courses cover a range of topics including an introduction to immigration law, Zambrano and EU citizenship and Article 8 and the Immigration Rules. Short audio key point podcasts supplement some courses.
With 400 members the Free Movement forum is the place to vent steam or seek help from other immigration lawyers. Forums cover the full range of immigration law subjects and email notifications are available. Please note, no personal legal advice may be sought on the forums.
