My client is a British wife with an Indian husband. They married and lived in India for many years. They have two children who are registered as British. The husband has a visit visa and a relative has said that if the comes to the UK, he will give him a job. Wife’s job, when she gets one in the UK will probably not generate £18600.
The question is can the husband travel to the UK on a visit visa and then apply to stay as a spouse if their combined incomes will exceed £18600?
