Incredible. Quite a surprise that the Official Secrets Act covers immigration, apart from anything – I perhaps naively assumed it was concerned with national security issues.
It is difficult to believe this will go well for the Government. It is bound to look like an over-reaction, very heavy-handed and an attempt to cover something up. And I have to say that it is just a tad worrying for a blogger who likes to put out immigration stories nice and early…

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/4293502.stm – Is a rather similar….overreaction, overreaction, overreaction; and lets not forget the recent use of the same act to freeze iceland’s assets…
With this current government it is appearing more and more like you cannot ‘have a go’ without getting ones self into trouble…
However, my initial thoughts where….
1) What else does he (the MP) know?
2) Is this an indication of some rather interesting trouble at t’mill?
3) What else is it going to uncover, and has Wollas been left without a paddle with the current running gently towards manure creek?
4) Is there potential ammunition for parties like the BNP (Immigration-wise) which could unseat Labour ministers? (I say this because someone had mentioned that Wollas is feeling the pinch of the BNP snapping at his heels)
